I'm 20 weeks into my pregnancy now! So far things have been running smoothly. I have been feeling those little kicks almost everyday now. The kinda tickle actually. They are too soft for Will to feel well outside the womb. I still make him try though.
A friend at work asked what I have been craving the most. Strangely enough, I have been cravening mostly breakfast cereals. Apparently its not uncommon for pregnant woman to crave starchy foods. It just seems to shock people that I'm not doing the traditional ice cream and pickle route. The combo still sounds very gross to me now.
Other than the kicks and the ever growing belly, my belly button is getting really odd shaped. It kinda looks like the tip of a balloon turned inside out. I'm just waiting for it to pop out fully, which should happen in a matter of weeks. *shudder* Yeah, I find the whole belly button "pop" process disturbing.

Boring....
I am SO bored today... I just came off of a wonderful spring break. We didn't travel but we did a lot around the house and just enjoyed each other's company. Now that the hum drum of everyday life is back...I'm bored to tears.
I have some great ideas to pass the time but being pregnant kinda kills 90% of them. It feels like the only things I can do are sedentary activities. Right now that doesn't sound very fun.

Our Zoo Outing
William and I have been a bit antsy at home lately. So in order to break up the hum drum we went to the local zoo.
I used to volunteer there as a teenager and haven't been back since. It was a blast working with them and I found out the best times to see the animals. My insider knowledge was put into good use today. We got some great views of all of the animals on display.
Of course I took my camera along! I strapped on my super happy fun telephoto lens for good measure too! Walking around we started to feel like kids. Our mission to see every animal we could an snap a shot of them. It was a well needed outing.
