OK is mid day 2. And this morning she actually sat on the potty by herself and peed! Unfortunately while she was peeing she got scared and refused to pee in the potty anymore.
After a yo-yo battle I decided to postpone the potty training for a while. I have asked some questions to some "expert's" on this program and they still haven't been answered. So I'm taking my mother's advice and my own instinct to cool off for a while. The last thing I want is for her to be afraid to go.

End of day 1
Everyone says the first day is hard and they are not kidding. It was rough for all of us. I changed her panties 11 times and I lost count on how many spills I cleaned. At the end both of our nerves were a bit raw.
She did show some progress though! After her nap she started to tell me when she had to go but refused to actually sit on the potty. The crowing glory happened when I started a load of dishes. She came up to me crossed her legs and did the potty dance while screaming "PEE PEE PEE!!!"
All in all I count this day as successful. Yes it was hard. Yes it was frustrating but over all it went well in terms of other mommies firsts days on the program.

The 3-day Potty Training Bootcamp
Today starts our potty training boot camp. I have been hearing about this technique for quite sometime and thought it looked promising. The basic idea is to put you child in cloth underwear. Then rush them to the potty when they show sings of need to go or just go in their pants. All throughout you are keeping a close watch on them. That means no distractions on both parties. No T.V. no phone, no computer.
Easy enough right? I'll give you our progress at the end of the day.
